Amy is research staff working on the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). She got her PhD from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where she worked on MKIDs for CMB applications, and completed a postdoc at the University of Chicago, where she worked on readout hardware with the South Pole Telescope collaboration. She has also worked in industry, at Intel Corporation. Here at UArizona, Amy oversees EHT operations for three EHT sites (SPT, SMT, and Kitt Peak), and is leading a hardware development project that will make the EHT array more agile and capable of observing on short notice.
