Daniel Krolikowski
Danny first joined Steward Observatory as a postdoctoral researcher in 2022 to work with Dr. Chad Bender on the NEID and HPF precision radial velocity spectrometers, before becoming an Assistant Research Professor in 2026. His work focuses on spectroscopic data reduction and analysis software for precision radial velocity work, including as the PI of an effort to develop software standards across the worldwide radial velocity community. He is also a data lead for the Large Fiber Array Spectroscopic Telescope (LFAST) project.
Danny completed his Ph.D. in Astronomy at the University of Texas at Austin in 2022 where he worked with Professor Adam Kraus on a variety of topics covering star formation, stellar spectroscopy, young planets, and young stellar magnetic activity. Danny's research program continues these themes by combining data across wavelengths to understand stellar activity and characterize young planets to map their formation and evolutionary pathways.
