I obtained a joint PhD from Universidad de Chile and Université Côte d’Azur in July of 2025. My research has focused on two aspects: - High-Contrast Imaging for detection of very young exoplanets embedded in Class II and transition protoplanetary disks, exploiting the complementarity of observations at optical and infrared wavelengths using several instruments (VLT/NaCo, VLT/MUSE, VLT/SPHERE, LBT/LMIRCAM, etc) - Characterization of accretion in massive planets, based on spectroscopic observations in the optical range focused on the detection of different emission lines (Balmer lines, He I, Ca III) associated with this processes.
I’m very excited to be joining the Steward Observatory under the supervision of Kevin Wagner and Steve Ertel, now working with infrared 10-micron observations for the detection of previously unseen companions, with particular focus on habitable-zone planets!
