My main research interest is to understand the elusive dark matter and energy by analysing the large-scale structure data from current and upcoming surveys. To achieve this, I developed pipelines to analyse data from state-of-the-art surveys such as SDSS (Sloan Digital Sky Survey) and DESI (Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument). I focus on analysing the peculiar velocity (motion of galaxies independent of the expansion of the universe) and the galaxy power spectrum (clustering of galaxies) previously. However, I am also interested in extracting cosmological information from weak gravitational lensing, cosmic voids, and gravitational waves. Lastly, the massive amount of data from current surveys requires significant computational time to analyse them. I am also interested in using machine learning to speed up data analysis.
Outside of my research, I am a massive soccer fan. I play soccer with my friends and enjoy watching games every weekend. I also like reading books, particularly in ancient history and detective novels. Lastly, I enjoy playing strategy-based video games such as Civilization VI and Total Wars.
