Lee Ann works with Dr. Felipe Guzman on the development and characterization of compact, highly sensitive, optomechanical inertial sensors. Pairing them with interferometric readout systems allows us to use them as accelerometers in applications such as gravitational wave detection, space geodesy, seismometry and inertial navigation.
